Hello, I'm Edgar Urrutia, I am glad you’re here!
For as long as I can remember, I've been drawn to entrepreneurship. When I was just 10 years old, I set up a miniature store with wooden walls and sheets for a roof, selling snacks to my family and neighbors as they passed by. Fast forward to 2024, and I've launched a design studio where I help people bring their vision for their homes to life.
I'm an Interior Designer with a degree from California State University, Northridge (CSUN), and two years of professional experience. I've worked for a luxury hotel interior design firm and as an assistant to a luxury residential designer in Los Angeles. My work focuses on creating beautiful and functional spaces that reflect my clients' unique personalities and lifestyles.
This website marks the start of my journey to build my own residential interior design studio, offering comprehensive services tailored to individual needs. Along the way, I also share interior design tips and insider knowledge on Instagram. Ultimately, I aim to create a worldwide studio and launch my own furniture and decor brand.

What the name “Aftermade”
I love the entire design process, from conceptualizing a design to specifying intricate details to adding the final touches to a completed project. The name embodies the pride and satisfaction I feel when comparing before-and-after photos of the homes I help transform. The 'after' photo, in particular, represents all the effort, decision-making, and unique story behind each project. Aftermade is the idea of making the after-product a beautiful, amazing, home worth the effort and sacrifice.

How do you see something that hasn’t been built yet? Are you comfortable with spending investing on something you can only imagine? In school I began really goo at 3D modeling and rendering and used it as a tool that helped me in making better designs. Thus it is now how I design, sort of the modern version of sculpting with physical models. The power of 3D visuals allows us to turn our dreams into photorealistic images.
Build it.
Once you're happy with the photorealistic 3D render, its time to get busy! Or should I say, It’s time to let us get busy for you. We will coordinate and see your project through step by step, so that in no time, you’ll be living in your dream.
